Apple trees in bloom!

We love our backyard! Josh keeps it looking really beautiful. We are so blessed that Casey's uncle comes over every year to prune all of the fruit trees. Here are 3 out of the 6. We have 5 apple trees and 1 pear tree. They are so beautiful when they are blooming. This year they bloomed mid-May.

Grandma's Birthday Party

May is a very busy month for us. It is packed with birthdays, graduations, and camping trips. This year, Grandma's party was at Josh's aunt & uncle's house. Most of the family was able to be there, and that was perfect. Only one of Josh's uncles was not able to make it. Unfortunately, Casey didn't get pics of everyone that came, but they were still there! Grandma seemed to enjoy herself and we had a good visit with everyone.

Mother's Day

Josh's older sister planned a fantastic meal for mother's day, and Josh ran the BBQ. We were so glad that the weather was so beautiful so we were able to have the party in Josh's Grandmother's yard. It was perfect and the food was fantastic! Josh's Aunt and her family were able to come over and join us. We enjoy getting together and visiting with everyone.

May 5th!

Today was a very busy, and special day. Not only was it Cindo de Mayo, but our cousin's baby was blessed! Many family came to the blessing at church, and afterwards, we were blessed to have a BBQ at Grandpa & Grandma's house. They have such a beautiful yard and shelter that they put in. It works perfectly for family gatherings.

We are so blessed to live so close to both of our families. We were able to go to the blessing and BBQ the same day as Josh's family's party. We ate....and ate.....and ate!! We just love Grandma's potato salad and Josh's mother's cookin!

Every year, Josh's mother has a party at her house to celebrate. The food is DELICIOUS!! All of it is homemade and well, let's just say that my mouth is watering now just speaking of it. Here are the highlights of the party!

Februrary Birthday Party!

I just realized that I am a bit out of order...oops. This was our nephew's birthday party. I was not able to go because I was at an Interpreter workshop in Logan for the day. Thankfully my wonderful husband went to the birthday party and took the camera. What a wonderful man! He did a great job with the pics too.

They decided to have the party at the church gym because it was so cold and snowy outside. They took all the toy balls my nephew had and the kids had a blast!
