Februrary Birthday Party!

I just realized that I am a bit out of order...oops. This was our nephew's birthday party. I was not able to go because I was at an Interpreter workshop in Logan for the day. Thankfully my wonderful husband went to the birthday party and took the camera. What a wonderful man! He did a great job with the pics too.

They decided to have the party at the church gym because it was so cold and snowy outside. They took all the toy balls my nephew had and the kids had a blast!

March 22***New hair!

I really felt the need back in Febuary for a change. So, what to most women do? They cut and dye their hair! My sister-in-law did it for me, and I really like it. Just to "throw my family off, " we decided to straighten my hair. For those of you with naturally curly hair...you understand that sometimes it is just wonderful to be able to brush your hair while it is DRY! It feels great on the scalp and a fun change. The funny part of the whole thing what that it really freaks Josh out when my hair is straight...then add the dark color.....and all he could do when he looked at me was shake his head in confusion! He was so cute about it, he just really likes my curls. Here's what it looked like just for one day.

This same night, some of my family came over to hang out. As you can see, PaPa and our nephew were really tired!
This little guy goes and goes and goes like the energizer bunny!

March 2013***SPRING BREAK!!!!

I don't know of very many people who get excited about camping in March, but those who have been steelhead fishing understand! I am a recent "convert" to steelhead fishing, but the more that we go, the more I enjoy it. Let me clarify, when the first steelhead is caught...that is when it becomes even more fun!

We were so ready for a break, and this spring break was very much needed. No cell phone service (unless we drove out of the canyon--and had to do a few times), no t.v., and no internet. It was just what we needed. Luckily, before we headed out, Josh's much needed waders showed up at the house!!

We were a little worried when we left Idaho Falls, because along the way, this is the weather that we ran into:
Luckily for us, the weather didn't take long to clear up. We were so BLESSED to have such wonderful weather!

These otters were pretty funny. We were standing on the road above them, and they were grunting and trying to scare us away. Josh said they were probably just protecting their babies.
We stayed in the same campground the entire time, but just changed spots every night.
It worked out really nice because we had the campground to ourselves. That's what happens when we go in the middle of the week :)

Yes, we actually sleep in the back of our truck. It works perfectly for us.

This is one of the many deer that we saw in our campground.

March 18, 2013***Another birthday Party!

March was a pretty busy month for us, and lots of fun. Josh's brother turned 21! We had another party at Josh's mother's home. The siblings and some of the cousins, and most importantly, his girlfriend came over to help celebrate!

March 16, 2013***Day Trip to Challis!

Joshua LOVES to fish! I LOVE to go with him! This year was exciting he bought me some waders! He has tried many times to get them before, but I didn't want them. Let me just say to all of you that JOSH IS ALWAYS RIGHT! At least when it comes to me.I had no idea what I was missing! Neoprene waders are where it's at!  We had so much fun and saw a variety of animals too. I LOVE LOVE LOVE spending time with Josh!

Easter with Josh's family!

Josh's mom is such a good sport about everything. Normally the family gatherings occur at her home. Josh's grandma and siblings and some cousins all gathered together to celebrate Easter. We have a good time with everyone.

March 8, 2013....Road trip for my Brother's birthday!

My brother turned 24 this year, and wanted to go to Jackpot. On the drive down, we stopped to have a look around and stretch our legs. My sister & her family, by brother & his wife, my dad, and of course Josh & I went. Whenever my dad goes on a drive, he helps us remember to slow down and enjoy the scenery!

Josh doen't like his picture taken all that much. He's a pretty good sport for me though!
My sister and one of my cute nephews!
 My sister-in-law and brother
 My dad and cute hubby!
My brother-in-law and other cute nephew!
 Watching the rockchuck.

While in Jackpot, we went to an "all you can eat" seafood and steak buffet with the gang and with my brother-in-law's brother and his wife. We ate until we pratically had to roll outta there! The food was pretty good (even though Josh & I aren't huge seafood fans). I don't know what I enjoyed more, all the deserts and chicken, or watching my brother try to figure out how to eat crab! Josh was a sport and started cracking it open for my brother so he could eat it faster. What a sight to see! Wish I would have taken my camera!

We were able to stay with my brother-in-law's family in Twin Falls with their cute girls. The girls so so nice and let us all stay in their room in the basement. We had mattresses and air matresses from one end of the room to the other. We sure had a great time!
